Art Shakes the Politics, the DVD


The DVD Art Shakes the Politics is now published on the occasion of
BJCEM, the 13th Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean.

More than 3 hours of lectures, videos, performances on how can artists affect social and political changes...
The main theme of the 13th Edition of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean is the individuation of the Kairos, the moment when the change is possible. The workshop Art Shakes the Politics wants identify the actions which make the change possible. Starting by the principle that culture reinforces civil society mostly in developing countries in the Mediterranean area. The cultural activism creates alternative networks and structures, favorites the individual participation in politics, strengthens democratic institutions and aggregation.
The workshop was coordinated by Daniele Pario Perra, with the collaboration of Giancarlo Norese.
