fama_fame: the video show

fama_fame / fame_hunger is an ongoing project which entails an array of initiatives, events and exhibits at an international level. The concept “to become famous” focuses both on the ambition of the artist to be accepted in the art system and on the basic need to survive in the everyday life, by reasoning on large numbers: how many poor people are needed to maintain the status of a star?
And on the contrary, how many hopeless people need well-known celebrities to dream of a better life?

After the two swiss steps, now fama_fame / fame_hunger is in The Netherlands with the artists videos from the network, moving to Italy and Germany in the next months.
