«Few artists have inspired as many homages by other filmmakers as the work of Bas Jan Ader, who went from obscurity during his own lifetime to being a major influence in today's art world.» (from www.basjanader.com; see the Homages section)
stumbled across this in the homages section. one of my favourite homages. this also reminds me of "i'm not the girl who misses much", by pipilotti rist. both videos (yours and hers) happen to have a theme in common: stereotypes tired of being stereotypes (off-topic: "stereotype" starts with an S too) but forced not to stop. i don't know if you meant it in that aspect, but i see it that way too. as another interpretation. keep it up!
"i'm not the girl who misses much" must be somewhere in youtube, in case you haven't seen it.

Thanks for your appreciation. Yes, I know that girl. Every layer of interpretation is welcome, of course.
