Le Centre des livres d’artistes
16/03/13 ➨ 29/06/13
Salle des conditions atmosphériques
Hubert Renard & Microcollection
Jeunes pousses d'Italie
Gino Marotta (Campobasso, 1935 – Rome, 2012)
Sergio Racanati (Bisceglie, 1982)
Alghe marine [Algue marine] (1999)
Giancarlo Norese (Novi Ligure, 1963)
Gianni Caravaggio (Rocca San Giovanni, 1968)
Crazy beans [Haricots fous] (2003)
Aglio selvatico [Ail sauvage] (2011)

Grand Show, Tirana
Microgallery is a project by studio203 - art and architecture collective.
Microgallery is a portable gallery in miniature that has no great pretensions, but expects great ideas.
The space is built and designed as a white cube (50x50x50cm), a space which by its own definition does not have an identity, but in this case the identity is symbolized by its size.
Microgallery is a cube, a window, a space for thought offered to artists to enable them to compete with a space with which have never been involved before. The challenge is to create an artwork that is fully part of the artistic research of the artist invited and at the same time surprised him.
“Com’on Ladies and Gentlemen, the Grand Show begins!”
The show is that of the art that brings people together, a kind of art able to undress itself of his vanity to try to build something that does not satisfy the aesthetic pleasure of the viewer - and perhaps for this reason hardly digesteded by the system - but which try to established in the territory, a global territory in the idea of the Italian artist Giancarlo Norese, whom invited to think a project for microgallery began to build relationships with other spaces in the world whose size was “micro”. The artist has therefore identified a feature, the minimum space elevating it to the role of protagonist of his Grand Show. The show is great because it considers the minimum space of the gallery as a starting point that unify other small spaces, others need to talk about the micro, not as something disconnected from the macro but rather as its starting point, in an unavoidable relationship. To quote the artist’s words:
“... to build a sort of network of collaborations and comparisons with similar realities, often developed without knowing each other, and mirror of a contemporary attitude to deal with an increasingly “consumed” world that would have us find the force to rethink our development model.
We put the world in a box to build our future, after all.”
And is it not true that all of our important memories are in boxes? So let’s see if many boxes linked to each other can build a new collection of objects and emotions able to make the world see the world from another point of view, that of the departure one.

Ephemera, Varese
Ephemera.
Documenti, ornamenti e pizzini. Esempi sull'arte di informare sull'arte
riss(e), Varese
2–10 Marzo 2013
inaugurazione sabato 2 marzo 2013, ore 18

"new (art) order." released Feb., 2013
"a certain number of books." new edition:2. new (art) order
A comic-book, a parody about the milanese artworld (with e.t. aliens): we commissioned a young novelist to write a story that will be illustrated by 12 different artists. We didn’t want to invite professional cartoonists, but rather some visual artists who often use the technique of drawing in their art practice.
We asked each artist to draw a couple of pages, so that it is one story, but when you leaf through the book every 2 pages has different drawings, as if there were different actors and directors working at the same script.
Giancarlo Norese and Luca Scarabelli (ed. by): "new (art) order."
With drawings by Cuoghi Corsello, Luca Bertolo, Olinsky, Cesare Biratoni, Alvise Bittente, Eva Marisaldi, Pierluigi Calignano, Lisa Rampilli, Marco Vaglieri, Giuliano Guatta, Daniele Giunta, Anna Hilti.
Script by Maurizio Temporin, Igor Della Libera.
First edition, February 2013: 120 copies, unnumbered.

Out of Place_an ongoing archive, Berlin
22:37 cultural association and berlinerpool are pleased to invite you to “Out of Place_an ongoing archive” in CORPO 6 galerie:
Thursday 13. December 6 pm, CORPO 6 galerie, courtyard, entrance C, first floor, Herzbergstrasse 55, 10365 Berlin.
“Out of Place_an ongoing archive” is an open and continuously upgradable archive, which was established with the aim of providing an overview of the widest possible range of theoretical references and ideas concerning the concept of nomadism in relation to the forms of contemporary artistic production. Behind the project is the idea that being out of place is the condition which enables a person to continuously reposition himself in one place. This process, not only physical, it is necessary to build the constantly changing sense of our presence in the space. The installation contains around eighty documents sent by artists, critics and curators. The first corpus of the archive has been shown in the section Independents3 of ArtVerona, Italy, in October. The visitors will be asked to contribute once again to the construction of the archive by participating directly in the cataloguing and indexing of the various contributions present in Out of Place. In this way, as a welcome guest, the archive will find its temporary location within CORPO 6.
PROGRAM:
VERNISSAGE 13 Dec, 6 pm
